Root crops are out

Not a bad haul considering they were planted by a then three-year-old.

I pulled the rest of the carrots and ended up with about a gallon bag full.  They had a rough go with the drought, and the onions too, but I’m calling it a win. Thanks to switching to raised beds, this was the first year I’ve successfully grown onions and carrots. I’ll probably cut them up in the near future and freeze them for soup this winter
